The Challenge
As Trenton prepared to launch Breath Athletics, he wanted a visual identity that reflected the company's commitment to premium, USA-made, eco-friendly athletic apparel while communicating confidence, simplicity, and long-term brand recognition.
The brand also needed the flexibility to grow alongside the business as new products were introduced.
The Approach
We explored multiple logo concepts before refining the selected direction into a distinctive visual identity. In addition to creating the primary logo, I developed logo variations and customized primary typography to create a more unique and recognizable brand.
Throughout the process, every design decision centered around creating a timeless identity that would feel equally at home on apparel, packaging, marketing materials, and future brand applications.
Design Explorations
Every Heartleaf brand begins with exploration. Rather than presenting a single idea, I develop multiple concepts based on conversations and my client’s goals. Each concept takes a slightly different creative direction, and refining the visual identity together is one of my favorite steps. Sometimes my clients immediately fall in love with a logo concept, and sometimes they’d like elements combined from multiple concepts. Below are some of my other original concepts I explored during this project.
The Outcome
Breath Athletics launched with a clean, confident visual identity that reflects the company's values and provides a strong foundation for future growth.
The finished brand is flexible, memorable, and designed to evolve alongside the business as it continues expanding its product offerings and community partnerships.
