Squarespace Web Design & Copywriting
When Courtney first reached out to me, she told me she wanted her prospective clients to truly be able to envision themselves working with her after seeing her website, and to feel her sincere, authentic self through it. As an inclusive therapist, it was (and is) important that her website speaks to her ideal clientele.
I sought to capture her unique personality in this complete website (and logo) design. To that end, I worked to ensure her website’s copywriting spoke directly to them and incorporated language appropriate for her niche, seeking guidance from her directly, and from reputable sources. Having just completed a lite version of my branding services (logos and colors) for her, I filled the pages of her website with calming colors, imagery, and font pairings that complemented each other. I ensured the flow of her site adhered to modern design trends within her industry, with proven layouts that guide the website visitor toward the ultimate goal: contacting her to schedule a free consultation for her inclusive psychotherapy services.
Heartleaf Design Studio launched her new website in 2023 and Courtney has made her own edits to her site over the years, thanks to Squarespace’s ease of use. When she does want assistance with her website, she can rest easy knowing she has a professional on her side, just an email away.

Pat first reached out to me in 2022, feeling overwhelmed and frustrated with her previous website designer. She had worked with a large scale company that charged her for a WordPress website design and then essentially ghosted her when it had problems. Images weren’t showing up, her logo in her website header showed a broken link icon, plugins were outdated or obsolete, and her contact form didn’t work. An entire website redesign was in order.
I designed and created a website for Pat that conveyed light through the dark, warmth, and hope, so that those going through their life’s transitions would feel confident in their decision to contact her for Healing Touch services. It was important to her that her new website include very detailed information about her services. Including lots of text in a website can be a delicate task: it’s important to lay out the information in a way that isn’t overwhelming to the website visitor, while still encouraging them to read everything you have to share. Utilizing modern web design layout trends and anchor links, along with custom designed service icons, I was able to present her detailed information in a way that appealed to her target clientele without causing information overload. I also incorporated her family member’s nature and light inspired artwork into her site at her request.
Her website officially launched in 2023, attracting her dream clients in her local Harrisonburg, Virginia, area. In 2024, she contacted me because she needed to suspend her services until further notice, and I assisted her with taking down her website and creating a backup copy, which we could work from when she was ready to offer her services once more.

Bridgewater Massage & Wellness
Vagaro Web Design & Copywriting
I first began working with Becca, the owner of Bridgewater Massage & Wellness, back in 2022, when her business still went by another name: Bridgewater Therapeutic Massage. She was ready for a logo redesign and she was one of my very first clients! After redesigning her logo and helping select brand colors, she contacted me to design her website, first through MassageBook, and then through Vagaro.
She wanted to promote her massage services, add-ons, classes, packages, and gift cards through her site while attracting her dream clients. While Vagaro’s design tools and capabilities are more limited than Squarespace’s, I was able to create a site that spoke directly to her target clientele, informing them on her unique services for the Bridgewater, Virginia, community that she serves. Heartleaf also handled the backend set-up of her Vagaro services, packages, employee calendars/hours, email design, and much more.
Today, I still work with Becca to design flyers, graphics, brochures, business cards, roadside advertising, window decals, and handle her website updates and almost all of her graphic design needs.

Prime Solutions Biomedical

Since 2023, Prime Solutions Biomedical has partnered with Heartleaf Design Studio on a number of projects. After handling its logo redesign and graphic design services for a trifold brochure, co-founder and owner, Jacob Rowan, contacted me again in 2024 for an entire website redesign. As a business, Prime had outgrown the capabilities of its then-website host and needed a professional website that could present their updated information in a modern, appealing way, while encouraging their ideal clients to contact them for a free service consultation.
Because it’s important to maintain consistency in how a business presents itself across all platforms and marketing materials, I incorporated custom icons I’d designed for their brochure, as well as their brand new logo and colors into their new website. I also ensured the copywriting was industry-relevant, and that their website layout was designed in a way that encouraged the website visitor to continue reading down the page, toward the ultimate goal: scheduling services.
Heartelaf launched Prime’s new website in 2024, and by 2025, Prime was ready for a major addition to their site: a Products page. Because Prime would be selling commercial cleaning chemicals, each product listing had to include downloadable MDA and SDA sheets and chemical information, in addition to images of the different size options available. Faced with a lot of information to include and not wanting to overwhelm the design or the customer with the data, I designed a minimalistic page with dropdowns for more info, and convenient anchor links for navigating back to the top within the page.

Squarespace Web Design & Copywriting
Byard, with Edge ITM, first contacted me about an entire website and logo redesign in 2022. Knowing his website was outdated and offered very limited and no longer accurate information on his services, and working to attract clients from a variety of different industries both domestically and overseas, he knew a complete website redesign was in order.
Heartleaf designed a website that appeals to Edge ITM’s ideal clients, complete with industry-relevant copywriting and design trends, and crisp, custom graphics. Edge ITM’s brand new logo design and color selections were also incorporated into the new website, to ensure consistency in branding.
