After more than eight years of experience as a therapist, Marilyn was preparing to open her own private practice. She needed a professional website that would establish credibility, communicate her approach to therapy, and help prospective clients feel comfortable reaching out—all while reflecting the warmth and authenticity she brings to her work.
Like many new practice owners, she had a wealth of knowledge and experience but needed help organizing that information into a website that felt clear, approachable, and easy to navigate.

The Approach
We began by talking through Marilyn's goals, ideal clients, therapeutic approach, and the overall experience she wanted visitors to have when landing on her website.
Rather than simply creating attractive pages, I worked to develop a clear content strategy that would guide visitors naturally through the site.
Together, we refined messaging, organized information, and thoughtfully shaped the language to reflect Marilyn's voice while remaining welcoming and easy to understand.
The visual design was intentionally calm, modern, and inviting, using soft colors, clean typography, and generous white space to create a sense of comfort without sacrificing professionalism.
On the technical side, the website was built on Squarespace with responsive layouts for desktop and mobile devices, foundational SEO, and seamless integration with Sessions Health so prospective clients could easily take the next step when they were ready.
